Hi! I’m Elvira, a sophomore majoring in Business and Finance. I see statistics as a vital tool for understanding data in today’s information-driven world, and accounting as the universal language of business. I’m always curious about the “why” behind concepts, formulas, and problems—believing that deeper understanding leads to better application. As an LA, I aim to support students with patience, clarity, and curiosity, and to encourage active learning. Feel free to reach out—whether for test prep or just to chat about the subject!

My name is Wayne Zhou (Class of 2026), majoring in Business & Finance and Mathematics at NYU Shanghai. I’m interested in data-driven financial analysis and market research. I’ve interned at China Zheshang Bank, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Ipsos, where I conducted marketing analytics and quantitative research. I enjoy mentoring and previously volunteered with PEER-Pal to support rural students in China. Outside of academics, I play piano and enjoy pencil sketching in my free time.

Hi! I’m Sissi Wang, a rising senior majoring in Business and Finance with a minor in Mathematics. I’ll be a LA for Foundations of Finance and Corporate Finance this year—two courses I really enjoy for how they bring financial theory into real-world applications. I'm particularly interested in sustainable investing and other topics at the intersection of finance and social impact. Outside of class, I love movies, painting, yoga, and café hopping. Hey I’m Doris! A rising junior majoring in data science with a track in genomics.
