Meet our Cohort Leaders

Being a cohort leader means that I can contribute to the academic community I genuinely care about here at NYU Shanghai. I hope to support the PhD students by taking a leadership role to enhance our learning, research, and social experiences. I would also serve as a bridge for communication and bonding between different sectors of the university. Hope our team effort with other cohort leaders will make the PhD experience at NYU Shanghai unique and fun.

As a graduate student in my last year of PhD training journey, I have experienced struggle and reconciliation with myself. Though no PhD students' hardship is the same, I wish I can serve the NYUSH PhD student community and foster fellow students' well-being while we pursue our academic success. Personally I also expect to broaden my vision beyond academia through connecting with other graduate students.
