Information Assistants

Hey! My name is Amina Issabek, and I’m from Kazakhstan. I study biochemistry and became an IA because I genuinely enjoy helping others and getting to know new people. Academically, I’m interested by the integration of biology and chemistry, and professionally, I see myself leaning toward research or technology. Outside of academics, I’ve been a competitive swimmer for many years. I also enjoy running, listening to Olivia Dean, playing the guitar, and simply enjoying life.

This is Lucy. I am from Shanghai and I intend to major in Business and Marketing and Computer Science. I am a returning IA and I really enjoyed working as an IA last semester, so that's why I come back. I really like answering questions and helping others at the front desk and also meeting a lot of new friends. I like doing real-life cases where I can actually give a solution, such as a business plan. My interests include watching reality shows, movies, playing the piano, and so on. A fun fact about me is that I have 15 cats and they are all really cute!

Hi!  I‘m Lisa Shen, and I‘m a freshman from Shanghai with an intended major in Data Science and Mathematics. I chose to become an Information Assistant because I hope to better connect students with the Academic Resource Center and help create a welcoming and supportive learning environment. I am interested in STEM subjects, and I enjoy photography, listening to music, and exploring cozy places around the city. Feel free to stop by the ARC anytime. We’re always here to support you!

Hi! I am Alisa, a freshman from Shanghai. I study maths and love it! I find IA a really rewarding job as I can connect students to the ARC and provide help. I love listening to music, doing workouts, and exploring! One fun fact about me is that I really love dogs, especially the adorkable ones!

Hi! My name is Camilla Zhang, and I’m from Chongqing. I am currently a freshman, intending to major in Business and Finance with a minor in Data Science. I enjoy helping students navigate academic resources and feel more confident in their learning journey. I see the Information Assistant role as a friendly and supportive point of communication, and I really appreciate the welcoming atmosphere that the ARC provides through its academic support services.
