The Student Health Center at NYU Shanghai supports students’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being through integrated medical, counseling, coaching and wellness services. We provide compassionate care, health education, and practical workshops to help students thrive during their university experience.
Located on the 4th Floor of the West Building, next to the west elevators, the Student Health Center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Students are welcome to visit on a drop-in basis or by appointment. Counseling and Health Coaching services are confidential and free of charge.

Wellness Exchange
The Wellness Exchange is a confidential 24/7 hotline that connects NYU Shanghai students with health and mental health support across New York University. Students can call +86-21-2059-9999 or +1-212-443-9999 anytime to speak with a trained professional for support with concerns such as stress, anxiety, emotional well-being, physical or sexual health, alcohol use, eating and body image, or anytime they simply need someone to talk to. Translation services are available upon request, and students may also call on behalf of a friend.
For after-hours emergencies or urgent support needs, students may contact the Resident Assistant on Duty or Student Life Staff on Duty through the Department of Public Safety.
