The Student Health Center offers a variety of wellness programs and educational resources to support the health and wellbeing of our entire student community.

Self-Serve Wellness Resources

Self-Serve Wellness Resources

Wellness supplies and educational materials are available for students outside of the Student Health Center office, Room W405. This includes hand sanitizer, bandages, menstrual supplies, and male condoms.

 

Weekly Wellness Programs

Each week during the academic term, the Student Health center offers in-person or mixed-mode wellness programs, open to all students. This includes:

  • Lunch and Learn interactive workshops, where medical and mental health professionals share their knowledge about a variety of topics most relevant for students.
  • Weekly Guided Meditation where students can practice a variety of effective mindfulness techniques to help reduce stress, improve focus, and boost your mood.
  • Small Group Workshops to build knowledge and skills for range of topics including procrastination, sleep habits, art therapy, anxiety, and sexual health.

 

Calm Corner De-stress Space

Calm Corner De-stress Space

The Calm Corner, located in Room W405, is a comfortable and welcoming space for students to relax, de-stress, and practice self-care. The space is open for drop-in use Monday through Friday from 1:00-5:00pm, and includes a variety of materials for students to use. We also have a Virtual Calm Corner website with additional self-care resources.

 

Sexual Health Resources

Sexual health is a state of physical, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality. It requires a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experience, free of coercion, discrimination and violence.
