The NYU Shanghai Creativity + Innovation Fellowship empowers students to critically and creatively engage with China’s dynamic innovation landscape. This selective fellowship brings together a global cohort of students united by their passion for exploring the intersections of design, business, and culture while studying in Shanghai, one of the world’s most dynamic cities.
Program Highlights
Opening Retreat: The fellowship kicks off with a retreat to help Fellows intentionally reflect and design their fellowship project.
Behind-the-Scenes Experiences: Fellows will have access to participate in trips across China, gaining behind-the-scenes access to innovators, entrepreneurs, and creatives in China who are shaping the future of their industries and society.
Grants for Project Support: Study away fellows can apply for grants of up to 6,000 RMB to carry out their own project exploring creativity and innovation in China during the semester.
Creative Showcase: The fellowship culminates with a final event that helps Fellows to synthesize their experiences and learning.
