The Post-Doctoral and Doctoral Research Assembly is an annual academic event that provides an opportunity for post-doctoral fellows and doctoral students at NYU Shanghai to showcase research projects, network with colleagues across disciplines, and ignite new collaborations.

Upcoming Event - April 18-19, 2024
The 2024 Post-Doctoral and Doctoral Research Assembly will be held on April 18-19. Any current doctoral student (including NYU Shanghai and ECNU N.E.T. students) or post-doctoral fellow (including research and teaching postdocs) is eligible to participate. The event will feature a poster exhibition, plenary sessions of oral presentations, and a dinner reception. Participants may present a poster, present an oral presentation, or do both. Awards will be conferred for Best Oral Presentation and for Audience Favorite Poster.

Spring 2023 Post-Doctoral and Doctoral Research Assembly
The first Research Assembly was held on Friday, April 21, 2023. Coinciding with NYU Shanghai’s 10th Anniversary celebrations, the event consisted of a poster exhibition in a convention hall format along with plenary sessions of oral presentations with awards for Best Poster and Best Oral Presentation. Public viewers were invited to cast a vote for the posters that most impressed them, and panels of NYU Shanghai faculty selected the winning oral presentations.
