Master's Programs

Master’s programs at NYU Shanghai span the fields of Data Analytics and Business Computing, Interactive Media Arts, Marketing and Retail Science, Organization Management and Strategy, Quantitative Finance, Social Work, and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

These programs are made possible through collaboration with peer NYU schools in New York including the Silver School of Social Work, Stern School of Business, Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, and Tisch School of the Arts. Students learn from top faculty at both campuses with cutting-edge curricula and global study experiences that are the hallmark of a NYU education. Upon graduation, students receive a NYU-granted degree.

Abundant opportunities are featured in the programs to engage in practice-based learning with co-curricular partners such as local social impact organizations, arts and educational institutions, and corporate enterprises. Practice-based learning places students in real-world contexts where they can directly apply skills acquired in their classes, previewing and preparing them for work after graduation.

*Note: For certain programs, students will apply to the NYU partner school while for others, students will apply to the Graduate Admissions Office at NYU Shanghai. Each program has specific admission requirements and procedures so students are recommended to read carefully the information that pertains to each program.
