Each spring semester, New Student Programs selects group of Orientation Ambassadors (OAs) who will help the office provide support to incoming freshmen. Each Orientation Ambassador will be assigned a group of freshmen to contact, and reach out to them during the summer and provide support for their first few weeks at NYU Shanghai.
Orientation Ambassadors are a key part of the Fall Orientation Week and First Year Dialogue, and they help new students adjust to the unique cultural and the linguistic environment of our school. All Orientation Ambassadors are full-time sophomores, juniors, or seniors who have been based at NYU Shanghai for at least one year, before the beginning of the 2019 Fall Orientation.
