On September 13, NYU Shanghai’s Green Shanghai club held an urban farming activity in the campus’s backyard among their greenhouse, two raised beds, a solar energy system and composting system. All community members (students, faculty and staff) can make use of the urban farm for recreational or academic purposes: growing their own vegetables and fruits, experimenting with agriculture techniques, composting and solar energy.
