  • NYU Shanghai Printing Service, All multi-function printers in the dormitories and the academic building are equipped to use this service, Students are eligible to use 500 free pages (black & white) printer in the library (Room 406).

    Faculty and Staff: Free
    Students: First 500 pages free (Black & White)
                     Black & White: 0.9 RMB per page
                     Color: 1.2 RMB per page

  • The classrooms, meeting rooms, lecture halls, and the auditorium, equipped with audio and visual equipments including projectors, LED TVs, overhead projectors, blu-ray DVD players, microphones, video conferencing systems, and more.


  • NYU Shanghai IT Services has a variety of hardware which can be borrowed by students and faculty. Items range from Apple laptops to camera tripods, and more. If you need IT resources for your project, contact IT’s Loan Services for help.

    FAQs & others

    • What happens if I lose or fail to return the equipment on time?

      Please refer to the Loan procedure

    • How do I renew an item?

      If there aren't any holds on your checked out item, you can renew it before your loan period ends. However, if the item is overdue, you will not be able to renew it. Please make sure that you renew your item prior to its due date. If you’d like to renew any equipment, please bring it to our front desk and we’ll take care of the rest.

    • What if I don’t know how to use the equipment?

      Our equipment loan services team would be happy to provide a basic rundown of all available equipment. There will also be equipment tutorial workshops in the future.

    • What if the equipment is damaged when return?

      Please refer to the Loan procedure



  • Shanghai IT provides various type of virtual machines options that can be used for academic and administration purposes

    Eligibility

    NYU Faculty, Staff

    Cost

    This service is free, but the license of the OS working on the virtual machine might be covered by the user. Users may apply for Microsoft Imagine to get the OS for research/academic purposes.
