Lathika Chandra Mouli, '17 – Electrical Engineering

I’m Indian but was raised in Thailand. Home to me is wherever my parents are; and my parents were, in fact, my biggest motivation to go into Electrical Engineering and STEM in general. My mom is an Electrical Engineer herself, so watching her being able to quickly solve all sorts of problems with flawless logic was something I aspired to master myself. Though it has not been easy, my journey in EE has definitely been worth it, and has taught me a lot--not just about technology and engineering but also about myself and how to deal with problems. As a senior, I am currently searching for jobs in the alternative energy and/or electronics field, and hope to work for a couple of years, gaining industrial experience that will give me a clearer focus on what I want to later pursue in grad school.
