For their exceptional service and outstanding achievements, Yvonne Jingyi Liu, Assistant Director of Provostial Affairs and Patty Mouzakitis, Associate Director for Academic Operations at the New York office, are being recognized with a Give-A-Violet Award and a Distinguished Administrator Award, respectively.
NYU Shanghai Provost, Jowoanna Waley-Cohen announced the news saying, “I am delighted that two members of the NYU Shanghai Provost's Office staff have won university-wide awards this spring. Each will receive her award in person in New York this week.
Yvonne Jingyi Liu, Assistant Director of Provostial Affairs in the NYU Shanghai Provost's Office, is the first member of the NYU Shanghai staff to be awarded a Give-A-Violet Award. This award is given annually to a small number of exceptional staff members across NYU who display qualities of integrity, respect, customer focus, teamwork, and adaptability, all qualities in which Yvonne excels, as well as having an indispensable additional one: a great sense of humor. Patty Mouzakitis, Associate Director for Academic Operations in the New York office of NYU Shanghai, is one of five individuals across the whole of NYU to be awarded a Distinguished Administrator Award. This award is given for exceptional service, impact, leadership, communication, and innovation, resulting in a significant positive impact on the University.
