In the spirit of Thanksgiving, NYU Shanghai's Deans' Service Scholars spent one day with four different charities making a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and supporting the environment on November 18. Scholars from Sunrise Cambodia and PEER group went to the Jinding School, the largest public school for migrant children in Shanghai, to give English lessons and learn from the students about their different backgrounds.
