NYU Shanghai Reading Salon

Apr 4 2014

Throughout each semester, the NYU Shanghai Writing GAFs and Workshop Instructors gather as a community to celebrate their writing and work outside of the classroom. The GAFs will hold a final presentation in May for the academic community at NYU Shanghai. The GAFs will present research and writing projects they have been working on in collaboration with assigned faculty members. This presentation will be the culmination of a year of work and will be a tremendous opportunity to understand the accomplishments of NYU Shanghai’s young scholars.

The previous “Reading Salon” was held at Nom Nom Bar on Yan'an Road, the home of the famous Strictly Cookies. The event allowed GAFs and faculty to make and eat cookies while enjoying selections of Writing GAFs Daniel Cuesta, Marjani Nairne, and Charlotte Evans, and Writing Professor Jessica Valdez’s current works.
