OAS Scholarship Recipients should return and remain in the sponsoring country for a period of no less than twenty four months after completing the program of study.

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program envisions a transformative network of young people and institutions driving inclusive and equitable socio-economic change in Africa. Since launching in 2012, the Program has supported nearly 45,000 young people in Africa to pursue secondary or tertiary education.

Global Health Corps (GHC) fellowships identify and nurture talented young leaders with a wide range of skill sets and backgrounds. Fellows work within health organizations in Malawi, Rwanda, Uganda, the U.S., and Zambia. Throughout the yearlong fellowship and beyond, they access robust training, mentorship, coaching, resources, and integration into GHC’s global network.

Eligibility:

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study/research projects or for English Teaching Assistant Programs. A candidate will submit a Statement of Grant Purpose defining activities to take place during one academic year in a participating country outside the U.S. The program facilitates cultural exchange through direct interaction on an individual basis in the classroom, field, home, and in routine tasks.

The Forrest Research Foundation Early-career Creative and Performance Leadership Fellowships are designed to offer a new route through which to nurture the creative talents and research leadership skills of those working in the creative and performing arts sector. Part of the Forrest Fellowship and Scholarship schemes, these awards seek to harness the imaginative, creative, embodied and practical skills of creative/performing arts practitioners in order to generate high impact outcomes and research initiatives that will result in social, cultural and health benefits to the wider community.

The Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program is an immersive summer opportunity for American college and university students to learn languages essential to America's engagement with the world.

Eligibility: U.S. citizens only.

Boren Scholarships, an initiative of the National Security Education Program, provide unique funding opportunities for U.S. undergraduate students to study less commonly taught languages in world regions critical to U.S. interests, and underrepresented in study abroad, including Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Boren Scholars represent a vital pool of highly motivated individuals who wish to work in the federal national security arena.
