Writing and Speaking Fellowship - NYU Shanghai

The NYU Shanghai Writing and Speaking Fellowship enables accomplished individuals with a passion for teaching to provide academic support and enrichment to the students who make up NYU Shanghai's multicultural student body. The primary role of the position is to provide academic tutoring and support. Fellows conduct one-on-one writing consultations and deliver workshops that help students improve academic skills in close reading, public speaking, time management and more.

Eligibility: Under the regulation of Chinese Laws, candidates should be Chinese citizens or native speakers of English. The definition of the term "native English speakers" will be delimited according to the specific regulations of the relevant Chinese authorities, and insurance of relevant legal documents for the Fellowship, if admitted, is subject to the local Chinese Immigration Policies. Accepted international candidates with fewer than two years of continuous formal teaching experience will be required to complete TEFL training and certification prior to the start of the Fellowship to obtain the work visa and permit.
