We are excited about the prospect of you joining the exceptional inaugural class at NYU Shanghai!

We have received a number of questions about financial aid awards. Please know that your offer of financial support was based on the information provided to us through the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE. While the PROFILE application remains a good source of information about your financial need and allows us to award financial support equitably among students, we recognize that you may have unique circumstances that cannot be reflected fully on the PROFILE application.

We also wanted to share with you updated costs (Chinese students click here) for housing and meal plans. If you would like to attend NYU Shanghai, but after receiving your offer of financial support, finances remain a challenge, please email us at shanghai.financial.support@nyu.edu.  You should include your name, your NYU ID number, and the reasons that you feel you are in need of increased financial support.   We will re-review your PROFILE information in conjunction with your email.  We may also request additional documentation to confirm your situation. If your situation warrants an increase in financial support, you will be notified via email. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns that you may have.
