State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs Visit

On March 27, Deputy Director of State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs Ms. Zhang Yali led a delegation of seven government officials on a visit to NYU Shanghai.  Chancellor Yu greeted and introduced the delegation to the University’s overseas faculty recruitment, appointment, evaluation and administrative support systems in addition to presenting information about NYU Shanghai’s student-centered, multifaceted academic enterprise.

Vice Chancellor Lehman met with the delegation after lunch, speaking about the University’s academic and administrative management. The Chinese delegation then held informal conversations over tea with four international faculty representatives.

Ms. Zhang praised Shanghai for its achievements to date and reassured the University of the State and Shanghai Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs’ continued support.
