| Quick Takes | | | NYU Shanghai Arts Professor Zhang Jian-Jun's exhibition, "Human Traces," opened at the K11 Art Foundation in Shanghai on March 18. The mixed-media works of portraiture created from Chinese ink, charcoal, and sound were developed during his 2019 residency at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Zhang's works explore three core concepts—the interaction between nature and humans, the human traces over the course of time, and the relationship between traditional and modern living. The exhibition will remain on display until May 3, when it moves on to Shenyang and Hong Kong. |
