Olivier Marin is Associate Professor of Computer Science at NYU Shanghai. Marin received his PhD in Computer Science in 2003 from the Universite du Havre, France. He is currently an associate professor at University of Pierre and Marie Curie (University of Paris 6) in Paris, where he has taught for the past decade. Marin is an expert in Operating Systems.
Current research focuses on distributed middleware solutions for dependability in various environments: delay-tolerant networks, clouds, and P2P networks. My research interests include fault tolerance, recommendation systems, multi-agent systems, and distributed architectures for the management of Big Data.
