Students from 84 Countries Admitted to the Class of 2025

Students in 84 countries signed on to good news April 1 as NYU Shanghai announced a final round of admissions offers for the Class of 2025. 45 percent of this year’s admitted students come from outside the United States and China and nearly a quarter will be first-generation college students.

On Wednesday, Vice Chancellor Jeffrey Lehman led community members on a virtual walkthrough of our new campus, whose construction is on schedule for a summer 2022 move-in.  Above is an architect's rendering of the interior of the art gallery, which will occupy a prime space at the campus' northwest corner and be open to the public, underscoring NYU Shanghai's ambition to become a social and cultural hub for Shanghai's Qiantan neighborhood.

Gallery Study Sessions | ponds among ponds

1:00-2:00 PM, ICA Gallery (limited to 10 participants)

Join a discussion group, focusing on one work in one hour, facilitated by ICA curators using an art mediation method called Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS).  Rather than exhibition tours, ICA Study Sessions are guided conversations based on curious exploration, critical reflection, and collective meaning-making.  All discussions will be held in English.
