The 2026-2027 estimated cost of attendance and financial aid offer (if you applied for financial aid by all stated deadlines) is available for students in the NYU Albert Student Center. Click on the "Finances" tab under the appropriate academic year.

U.S. Federal Loans (U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents)

If you have been offered U.S. federal loans, you (the student) must accept/decline all or a portion of your loans in NYU Albert under the Accept/Decline Awards link.

Renewal of NYU Shanghai Scholarships/Grants

NYU Shanghai scholarship and grant aid is renewed annually at the same amount, provided you maintain full-time enrollment (12 credits or more per semester).

Outside Scholarships or External Funding

All students who expect to receive financial support from outside their family, such as government grants, community scholarships, or other sources, must notify the Office of Financial Aid at shanghai.financial.support@nyu.edu. External funding will be considered when determining your final aid eligibility.
