The Class of 2022 has been busy this week—from getting to know their new classmates to learning about university life at NYU Shanghai and touring the city they’ll call home. Watch our video highlights from Move-In Day and see some of the photos students have been sharing so far:

After the official class welcome, time to relax at the freshmen welcome dinner:
Information sessions included a panel about planning careers in Shanghai, from those who have been there—our alumni! Speakers on the Career Development Center alumni panel included Richard Zhao ‘17, Annie Seaman ‘18, Lathika Chandra Mouli ‘17, Wu Yuwei ‘17, Sam Chen ‘18 and Nan Zhao ‘18.
After a morning in the classroom, time to explore the city: the Class of 2022 head down Century Avenue to explore some of Shanghai’s most iconic spots, including Yu Garden, the Bund and Jing'an Temple.
The metro is the easiest way to get around Shanghai. NYU Shanghai's campus is just three stops from Puxi, the historic heart of Shanghai.
Best way to explore the city in the August heat? With new friends and a cold drink!
