The Samvid Scholars program supports up to $50,000 per year for two years of graduate study. In addition to funding for their graduate program, each Scholar will receive two years of leadership development programming to support them to continue to fulfill their extraordinary potential. Eligibility: An eligible candidate for 2024 selection will: - Pursue a full-time graduate program of 2 years or longer at a university in the United States, in one of the following eligible programs: MD, MBA, JD, MPP/MPA, MPH, MS/MA in the social science or STEM. Rong Chang Scholar “荣昶学者” is a program in collaboration with Fudan University which is open to all college students of Chinese nationality. It features an annual award for students of high achievements with a global vision. They also offer opportunities for internships with international organizations. The Rhodes Scholarship is the world's oldest, most famous scholarship, and is now open to all citizenships. Funding degrees in all research subjects, from Biochemistry to Artificial Intelligence, English Literature to Public Policy, it aims to nurture public-spirited leaders for the world's future. Rhodes Scholars study at the world-class University of Oxford, ranked first internationally in the Times Higher Education rankings in 2017. Scholars may pursue any full-time postgraduate degree (subject to limited restrictions) offered by the University of Oxford, with funding for 2-4 years. Rhodes Scholars mix with other global scholars in the UK and hold comprehensive retreats, workshops, conferences, as well as many discussion and social events at Rhodes House, Oxford. Eligibility: Generally, you must have reached your 18th birthday and not have passed your 24th birthday on 1 October in the year of application - check your specific country criteria. Rhodes Scholars must have completed a Bachelor’s degree before coming up to Oxford, to a sufficiently high standard to meet both the Rhodes and the Oxford criteria. Application: Apply online. Deadline: Check your country of eligibility. Most deadlines (including China) fall in early October, but a few are as early as July. If you are applying under the "Global" category (i.e. your country does not have its own competition), nominations must be received by 30 June and applications by 31 August. |

Details: Princeton in Latin America (PiLA) partners with NGOs and multilateral organizations and places highly qualified recent college graduates in year-long service fellowships with nonprofit, public service, humanitarian, and government organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean. Placements emphasize the power of firsthand work experience to shape young people's attitudes and mobilize them to effect positive social change. PiLA enhances the mission of its partners by building their capacity to constructively impact the communities they serve, addressing the social, economic, and political barriers to egalitarian community development. Since 2003, PiLA has placed over 400 fellows with partners in 20 countries throughout the region. Founded in 1898, Princeton in Asia (PiA) has been building bridges between the U.S. and Asia for over a century. PiA aims to foster mutual appreciation and cultural understanding by connecting service-minded graduates and partner organizations in Asia through immersive work experiences that transform perspectives, cultivate long-lasting relationships and benefit local and global communities. Princeton in Asia Fellows teach in kindergartens, secondary schools, polytechnics and universities; they work with international and local nonprofits as well as some of Asia’s most innovative businesses and social enterprises. Eligibility: PiA is open to applicants of any nationality who have earned a bachelor’s degree or will obtain a bachelor’s degree before their anticipated fellowship start date. Applicants must speak to how they will promote mutual appreciation and cross-cultural understanding between the United States and Asia. It is important to note that host country visa restrictions may limit the number of potential posts for citizens of certain nationalities. Moreover, applicants who are in the process of applying for permanent residency or citizenship in the U.S. are advised to consult a legal professional about the impact that a fellowship may have on their immigration status.
