Vehicles entering the NYU Shanghai Campus must go through a barrier gate. To access the campus and parking garage, please obtain a Parking Permit or register at the gate.

* Only permanent full-time employees, faculty, and staff are eligible to apply for Parking Permits(Check your eligibility). NYU Shanghai portal or study away students are not eligible.

Procedures
- Step 1: Submit an application
- Step 2: After the application is reviewed, a permit will be issued in 2 business days
- Step 3: Pick up your permit upon notification

1. Copy of Driving License
2. Copy of Vehicle Travel License
3. Copy of your Government Issued ID or NYUCard
4. Signed Safety Commitment Statement

Parking Permit Instructions
- The parking permit must be placed in a clearly visible position at the lower left corner of the front windshield while the vehicle is on campus.
- Please present the permit for inspection upon request.
- Do not lend, copy, alter, or forge the permit.
- If the permit is lost or stolen, report it to Campus Safety immediately.
- Campus Safety reserves the right to issue, verify, and manage parking permits.
Traffic Safety on Campus
- Observe all posted traffic signs, notices, and campus driving regulations.
- Follow designated driving routes and do not exceed 5 km/h while on campus.
- Use of vehicle horns is prohibited.
- Drive courteously and yield to pedestrians at all times.
- Park only in the B3 parking garage. Parking on main roads, crosswalks, grassy areas, or any location that may obstruct traffic is strictly prohibited.
- Do not move, damage, or tamper with any traffic signs or traffic-related facilities on campus.
