Sunshine House Holiday Card Making

Fifteen members of the Shanghai Sunshine House -- a community organization that provides daily care centers for those with mental disabilities -- visited NYU Shanghai for pre-holiday festivities on November 20.

After a tour around the academic building, the Sunshine House trainees, together with students, faculty and staff members, took part in a Christmas card-making party. The event was a great opportunity to get to know the trainees and marked the beginning of cooperation with the Sunshine House.

Over 150 cards were made and sold during cafeteria lunch hours and at the Student Life help desk. All proceeds go towards gift donations for the Sunshine House trainees, who will be presented with them on December 11, at NYU Shanghai.
