Current students, faculty and alumni of all four NYU Stern - NYU Shanghai Master's Programs, as well as Stern alumni of other programs including BS and MBA who are based in Shanghai, joined together for cocktails and conversation at the PuLi Hotel in Shanghai on Wednesday, September 11th. The event started off with a discussion on "Human and AI Creativity: A Case of Co-opetition" led by Adam Brandenburger, J.P. Valles Professor at NYU Stern School of Business, Faculty Director for the NYU Shanghai Program on Creativity + Innovation, and newly appointed Director of the NYU Stern - NYU Shanghai Master's Programs.

Professor Brandenburger commented on the ongoing debate about how creative current-generation AI is, how creative it might become, and what are the implications for the world of creative work. Following the great conversation and lively discussion, community members enjoyed food and drinks while mingling with old friends and making new connections. This event provided a great opportunity for alumni and current students to gain industry insights and to connect with other Stern alumni based in Shanghai.
