Xiaodong (Sheldon) Yang is an Assistant Professor of Practice in Operations and Business Analytics at NYU Shanghai. He holds a PhD degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a BS and an MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests lie in the area of marketing-operations interface and has been published in top business journals such as Production and Operations Management, and Journal of Retailing.
