Paul Meloccaro is a Lecturer in the English for Academic Purposes program at NYU Shanghai. His research interests have included the uses of narrative in language teaching, mental representations of phonology in second-language reading, corpus-informed acquisition of idiomatic language and collocations, learner engagement in language learning, and the intersections between content-based language instruction and interdisciplinary learning. For many years, he served as editor of AZTESOL News and managed the website of the Arizona affiliate of TESOL. Prior to joining NYU Shanghai, Paul held various teaching positions (adjunct, instructor, lecturer) at Hunter College, Long Island University, Arizona State University, and Phoenix College.
