Jinghong Bi is an Interim Advanced and Post-Advanced Level Coordinator of the Chinese Language Program and a Senior Language Lecturer of the Chinese Language Program at NYU Shanghai. She holds a Master’s degree in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from East China Normal University. Bi has previously worked for the University of Virginia’s Chinese Summer Program and taught Chinese at Washington and Lee University in the US. She is experienced in teaching advanced level Chinese and incorporating community-engaged learning activities and using authentic materials to provide a more engaging and contextualized learning environment.
