Diane Geng Honored for Making a Difference

As part his inauguration as NYU President, Andrew Hamilton bestowed one of the first-ever Making A Difference awards to NYU Shanghai's Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs along with NYU Prof. Wei Ji Ma for their work in establishing and running the Rural China Education Foundation.

Preparing For a Global Medical Career

Ann Yang ‘17 used her study away year to take classes in reproductive health in Accra, Ghana, and conduct medical research in New York, where she worked on a biomedical engineering project that aims to improve the postoperative monitoring process. Here she shares her global story.
