If you received NYU Shanghai scholarship and/or grants your first year upon entering NYU, you will need to: make satisfactory academic progress towards your degree; register full time (12 credits or more) each semester; reapply for financial aid every year by our May 1 deadline; and demonstrate roughly the same amount of financial need every year in order to renew your scholarship/grants at the same amount that you entered with.

Financial Applications for Returning Students
FAFSA: Required by May 1 for US citizens (or official permanent residents of the United States)
Late FAFSA filers will still be considered for federal aid if otherwise eligible.
CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE: Required by May 1 for all other students (except Chinese Nationals)
