Yun Mi Her is an Interactive Media Arts (IMA) Studio and Fellow Coordinator and an Assistant Arts Professor of Interactive Media Arts (IMA) at NYU Shanghai. She is a multimedia artist working with VR/AR, video installation, and sculpture. Her interest lies in the paradoxical relationship between individuals and society, which is portrayed as spatial installations in her work. Yun Mi's works have been exhibited in Korea and the United States, including at the SOMA Drawing Center, Seoul Art Center, and San Diego Art Institute. Prior to joining NYU Shanghai, she taught at the University of Washington where she earned her PhD in Digital Arts and Experimental Media (DXARTS).
