Shmuel Bittner

Shmuel Bittner was a Visiting Professor of Chemistry at NYU Shanghai. He is a professor emeritus from the Ben Gurion University and holds a Ph.D. from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel.

Professor Bittner’s research interests are synthetic organic chemistry, natural products, and chemistry of quinone compounds. His work has appeared in Tetrahedron, Tetrahedron Letters, Synthesis, and Amino Acids.
