Murray James Morrison is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Arts at NYU Shanghai. He is also a saxophonist, composer, and music educator. Formerly, he was the Head of Saxophone at the Popular Music Academy of the Sichuan Conservatory of Music, where he taught jazz and popular music in Mandarin Chinese. He was also Head Composer for Rye Studios, a Chinese educational app developer, and has worked as an itinerant clinician, guest lecturer, and performing artist in countries around the world.
