Jung Hyun Moon is the IMA/B Studio and Fellow Coordinator and an Assistant Arts Professor of IMA at NYU Shanghai. He holds an MPS from the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at New York University (NYU).

J.H. Moon, an interaction designer and creative coder, creates interdisciplinary work in new media. He’s known for his work, both experimental and mainstream, in the visual and performing arts. Moon is particularly known for his innovative uses of algorithmic animations, real-time motion tracking, audio visualization, and projection mapping in close collaboration with choreographers, dancers and musicians. He currently explores generative/variational choreography utilizing machine learning.

His productions have been exhibited most recently at the China Shanghai International Arts Festival in Shanghai, the NASA Space App Event, and the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) in New York City, as well as some of the most prestigious museums in Korea.
