Photo Contest

 

From first-day-of-school selfies, dorm room jam sessions, to exploring the city with your new friends--capture your first week at (or back to) NYU Shanghai for a chance to be featured on our social media pages and for shot at 200RMB to spend in the NYU Shanghai Campus Store!

To Enter

  • On Instagram:

    • Follow our official account: @mynyushanghai

    • Tag your photo with #myfirstweek and #NYUShanghai -- that’s it!

  • On WeChat / Weibo:

    • Send your entry in a message to our official WeChat account “NYUShanghai” or mention “上海纽约大学NYUShanghai” on your Weibo photo post.

    • Or, if you’re old school: email your photo to us at shanghai.social@nyu.edu

  • Submit your photos by midnight on Thursday, September 14.

  • We’ll feature a selection of our favorites on NYU Shanghai’s Facebook page and WeChat, and then turn the voting over to you to pick the top 3 finalists!

  • The first place winner will receive a 200RMB NYU Shanghai Campus Store voucher—with two runners-up winning a voucher for 100RMB each. All winners will be announced in the Gazette campus newsletter on Friday, September 22.

  • Submitting photos using #nyushanghai and #myfirstweek also makes you eligible for the university-wide photo contest, that includes all NYU global campuses and sites.

 

Contest Rules

  • The contest is open to all current NYU Shanghai students! 

  • By entering, you grant permission for your contest submissions to be featured on any of  NYU Shanghai’s social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Weibo and Wechat.

  • You must be an individual (not an organization, club, or group) to enter.

  • Your photo should depict YOUR experience of the start of the Fall 2017 semester.

  • For consideration, the photo must be posted and tagged #myfirstweek and #nyushanghai by midnight on September 14. 

  • No nudity or profanity, please.

  • Only post a photo to which you own the rights. Entries must comply with terms of service for Instagram, Twitter, WeChat and Weibo.

  • First place winner will receive a 200RMB gift voucher to the NYU Shanghai Campus Store. Two runners-up will each receive a 100RMB voucher.

  • The winners will be notified with additional details.

开学了。同学们，你的开学是什么样子？对大学生活满满的期盼？学习新知的充实与挑战？回归校园见到老朋友的喜悦？用手机拍下你的所见，与我们分享。
你的照片除了可能被选中发表在上纽大官方社交媒体上，还有机会赢得200元代金券在校园店使用。

  • 得票最多的将获得价值200元的校园店代金券；两位亚军将分别获得100元代金券。我们将在9月22日的上海纽约大学汇报上公布获奖名单。

  • 须以个人身份（非组织、社团或团体身份）参赛。

  • 照片须和2017秋季学期开学后你的个人经历有关。

  • 须同时使用#myfirstweek和#NYUShanghai两个标签。比赛截止时间为9月14日（下周四）。

  • 请勿发裸露或任何不妥照片。

  • 你须拥有照片所有权，照片须符合Instagram，微信与微博相关管理条例。

  • 得票最多的将获得价值200元的校园店代金券；两位亚军将分别获得100元代金券。

  • 投票结果出炉后，我们将联系获选者。
