Why I chose NYU Shanghai
I chose NYU Shanghai because it offers a unique opportunity to study abroad in a truly international environment. As someone interested in medicine, I believe it's important to understand how healthcare works around the world. NYU Shanghai not only allows me to learn in a global setting, but also helps me explore different perspectives on medicine, healthcare systems, and public health. By living and studying in China, I can gain valuable insights into Eastern medical practices while still receiving a world-class education grounded in Western academics. This global experience will help me become a more well-rounded and informed future medical professional.
