Udall Scholarship (Environment or tribal affairs - US citizens)

The Udall Foundation’s programs promote leadership, education, collaboration, and conflict resolution in the areas of environment, public lands, and natural resources in order to strengthen Native nations, assist federal agencies and others to resolve environmental conflicts, and to encourage the continued use and appreciation of our nation’s rich resources.

Eligibility: Interns are selected on the basis of:

  • Commitment to a career related to Tribal public policy or supporting Tribal communities;
  • Commitment to the Udall Foundation’s values of civility, integrity, consensus, public service, and nonpartisanship; - Knowledge and skills applicable to a Federal agency or Congressional office;
  • Academic achievement; and - An understanding of the Udall legacy, demonstrated through the application essay.
