Interactive Media and Business

Interactive media is a vital element of the modern business world. Both established corporations and start-ups conduct increasing portions of their business through apps, websites, social media, and other forms of emerging media. The application of interactive media is driving many new business models, companies, and consumer trends. The present business climate and job market demands that recent graduates come equipped with broad interdisciplinary knowledge, skills and abilities.

IMB majors will graduate well prepared for careers and leadership roles in media and business environments, through exposure to business and media theory, and through integrated and hands-on application of new business and interactive media practices, in one of the world’s business and media capitals, Shanghai. IMB students will also elect to pursue additional coursework in other global business and media capitals, especially New York and London.
