    Chief Information Officer

    Pan Chang serves as Chief Information Officer at NYU Shanghai, where he leads the University’s information technology strategy and oversees digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, data center operations, high-performance computing, campus application development, and smart campus initiatives. His work focuses on advancing digital transformation in higher education through data-driven decision-making, automation, intelligent IT operations, and the practical application of artificial intelligence.

    Before joining NYU Shanghai, Chang served as Director of the Network and Information Center at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Director of the Network and Information Center at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, and Deputy Director of the Network Center at East China Normal University. He brings extensive experience in IT leadership, digital infrastructure, and technology-enabled transformation across higher education and research institutions.
