电子信息工程 (电子工程)

上海纽约大学电子信息工程 (电子工程)专业旨在培养具有全球视野、接受广泛教育、拥有创造性思考能力的技术领导者。从城市地下的地铁系统到悬挂在墙体上的高清电视,再到几乎人手一部的智能手机,电气工程师的创新触及现代生活的方方面面。这个创新的过程永远不会完结,新的挑战一直在等待未来的电气工程师。除电子信息工程 (电子工程)专业相关课程,还开设了一系列学科的课程,包括数学、物理学、计算机科学。博雅教育核心课程提供了知识的广度,是一张“学习许可证”,让学生在一个多元文化的全球化世界茁壮成长,在日新月异的各领域快速学习、适应。课程还包括在学校先进的实验室里进行动手操作,也还可通过选修课程(微电子、无线通信、智能电网系统等)来探索某一个专业方向,确保学生的学业兴趣能有高度灵活的课程相匹配。

电子信息工程 (电子工程)专业的应用范围十分广泛,学生可从事电子设计、生物工程、城市规划和航天事业,以及图像处理、遥感勘测、计算机设计和专利法等方面的工作。部分毕业生会选择继续攻读硕士研究生或博士项目。
