吴晓刚 (Xiaogang Wu)

      吴晓刚现任上海纽约大学御风全球社会科学讲席教授、应用社会经济研究中心主任，和纽约大学社会学教授。吴教授于2020年加入上海纽约大学，此前授曾任香港科技大学社会科学部和公共政策学部讲席教授。

      吴教授在中国人民大学获得学士学位，在北京大学获得硕士学位，在加州大学洛杉矶分校获得社会学博士学位。吴教授于2001年至2003年在在密歇根大学人口研究中心担任Andrew Mellon博士后研究员。此后加入香港科技大学担任社会科学助理教授，于2011年晋升为教授。吴教授于2006年至2007年获得美国国家教育学院授予的Spencer博士后研究员基金，2007年获得美国社会学协会授予的亚洲及亚裔美国人青年学者奖，2012年获得香港教育资助委员会授予的人文及社会科学杰出学人研究员基金。2022年，吴教授当选为社会学研究学会（Sociological Research Association，简称SRA）会士，该学会旨在推选表彰社会学研究领域的领军学者。

      吴教授现任国际华人社会学会长，也是国际知名期刊《中国社会学评论》（Chinese Sociological Review）的创始主编。
