Brian J. Hall

      Brian Hall 现任上海纽约大学全球公共卫生教授、全球健康公平研究中心主任；纽约大学全球公共卫生学院特聘教授。加入上海纽约大学前，他曾在澳门大学任教，并主持心理学系全球及社区精神健康研究组工作长达七年。自2014年以来，Hall 教授也在约翰霍普金斯大学彭博公共卫生学院健康、行为和社会学系任职。

      Hall教授的研究兴趣集中在运用跨学科的研究方法探索并提出各类人口健康挑战的解决方案。Hall教授曾获为期两年的NIMH T32精神疾病流行病学研究员基金，在约翰霍普金斯大学彭博公共卫生学院精神健康学系专注研究流行病学调查方法与公共卫生。2013年，Hall教授在福格蒂研究员基金的资助下，在北卡罗来纳大学全球健康与传染病研究所、约翰霍普金斯大学彭博公共卫生学院及中山大学公共卫生学院等机构的支持下，全职来华开展科研工作。2017 年，Hall教授成为世界卫生组织首批全球心理健康研究员；2019年当选为美国心理学会会士。2019 年，Hall教授成为中国科学院国际人才计划入选者。同年，Hall教授荣获约翰霍普金斯大学彭博公共卫生学院授予的杰出导师奖，以表彰其在全球健康教学方面的突出贡献。

      Hall教授曾任世界卫生组织、儿童基金会、联合国艾滋病规划署顾问，并与社区机构合作，为改善包括中国国内迁移人口、海外移民、青少年、护理人员和老年人等不同人群的健康状况服务。
