In this talk, Yiying Lu, Creator Director at 500 Startups, will share her personal stories and thought processes about how she crafts her life purpose, stays on the path while facing challenges, and hacks and hustles her way to make profits.  Yiying will take the audience on a journey into the exciting reality of becoming and being a successful creator in the world of business.

Yiying Lu is an award-winning cross-culture artist & designer with more than 10 years of experience in the creative realm. Yiying was named a "Top 10 Emerging Leader in Innovation" in the Microsoft Next 100 series.

Her projects have been featured in many publications, including The New York Times, Forbes,The Atlantic, NBC News, TIME, CNN, BBC, San Francisco Chronicle, TechCrunch, Mashable,The Huffington Post and so on. Her clients include Disney, PepsiCo, Microsoft, Twitter, Sony, Expedia, Maybelline NY and so on.

Yiying currently leads creative direction at 500 Startups, the world's most active venture capital firm and startup accelerator. She is also a creative advisor Adobe.
