Working On Campus

Working on campus takes advantage of great resources within university departments and helps students gain real work experience from the very beginning of their study here at NYU Shanghai. The CDC encourages you to develop professional skills starting freshman year by applying for an on-campus job. You can use a few hours of your time and talent each week to contribute to the university and gain work experience. These positions will help you strengthen your résumé, develop professionals skills important for future employment, and earn a monthly paycheck. The commitment for each position is usually one academic year. Departments hire new student workers at the beginning of each Fall semester.

All the job descriptions will be posted on CareerNet. If you are interested in applying for student worker positions, please read the job descriptions in CareerNet and apply accordingly. In addition to hiring at the start of the semester, some departments open positions throughout the semester as well. If you have questions about specific positions, please contact the respective hiring for the position you're interested in.
