Shizhuo Zhu

Shizhuo Zhu is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Data Science at NYU Shanghai. Professionally, Zhu is an AI Expert at Ping An Technology, bringing AI to meet business needs, especially in the financial world. Prior to joining Ping An, he was a Machine Learning Data Engineer Manager in the Center for Machine Learning (C4ML) of Capital One, located in New York. Zhu has also served as a Sr. Member of Technical Staff in AT&T Labs and later at Big Data Center of Excellence.  

Zhu has led a series of enterprise level projects and product development ranging from mobile big data processing to machine learning for credit and risk monitoring. In his primary role as an AI Expert in Ping An, he takes the responsibility to build the rating system for the company’s ESG performances by using the latest NLP algorithms and other data processing methods.
