Ritwik Ranjan is a Global Perspectives on Society Teaching Fellow at NYU Shanghai. Educated in India and the United States, Ritwik received his Ph.D. from Princeton University in the Spring semester of 2016. Informed by Postcolonial Theory and its contestations, Ritwik’s doctoral work is situated at the crossroads of the Philosophy of History, the History of Ideas, and Literature. At Princeton, he assisted undergraduate teaching in the departments of History, Near Eastern Studies and Sociology.
