Ratan Dey is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science at NYU Shanghai. Prior to this position, he was an adjunct professor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. He has also worked as a software engineer at Teach for America, Bangla Phone Ltd., and Stochastic Logic Ltd. During his PhD studies, he received a GAAN fellowship, CRISSP fellowship, and CATT fellowship. He was one of the finalists in the First International Students’ Conference, “IT Security for the Next Generation” by Kaspersky Lab (2011). Some of his research projects were featured in the New York Time, Huffington Post, Bloomberg TV, Metro, DigitalTrends, etc. More information on research can be found at his Google Scholar Page
