Assistant Professor of Practice in Computer Science
Ratan Dey is an Assistant Professor of Practice in Computer Science at NYU Shanghai. Prior to this position, he was an adjunct professor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. He has also worked as a software engineer with Teach for America, Bangla Phone Ltd., and Stochastic Logic Ltd. During his PhD studies, he received a GAAN fellowship, CRISSP fellowship, and CATT fellowship. He was one of the finalists in the First International Students’ Conference, “IT Security for the Next Generation” by Kaspersky Lab (2011).
